If you’ve been arrested for an Indiana DUI/OVWI, you might be required to use an Ignition Interlock Device (IID) as part of your Specialized Driving Privileges (SDP), allowing legal driving while your case is pending. This device, a breathalyzer installed in your car, counts toward license suspension time, meaning any period you spend using it before sentencing will reduce your overall suspension.
